OtherWise Encounters is a learning community which includes people of diverse genders and worldviews. We have a zero tolerance policy on proselytizing.
We simply ask that you not pressure others to adopt your tradition, beliefs, or worldview. The use of "I" statements will mitigate most of the risk of being banished for proselytizing. There is nothing wrong with sharing with joy how much you love your tradition, your faith, your practice!
However, if you come from Christian environments that look down on non-Christians (or Christians of other denominations), then you may need to be more vigilant about avoiding unintentional remarks that embody Christian supremacy. If you have any doubt about whether something might be experienced by others as problematic, please add a content warning to mitigate potential harm.
We expect all comments during OtherWise Encounters programming to reflect the priorities expressed in the Being Brave Together invitations and group agreements.
