About the Assessment Options

Assessment Option 1: $100 non-refundable application fee  (6 continuing education contact hours)

  • Submit all four Final Project assignments to the certification instructor for review
  • Successfully complete one online post-test for each course


This option is designed to be cost-effective and totally asynchronous. It does involve sharing all four of your Final Project assignments with the certification instructor, which may include personal information.



Assessment Option 2: $175 non-refundable application fee (7 continuing education contact hours)

  • Submit the OtherWise 102 Final Project to the instructor for review
  • Successfully complete a 1-hour consultation with the certification instructor to discuss and reflect on your 4 Final Projects and the Transfaith for Allies certificate experience overall.


This option is allows most of the Final Projects to be kept private and does not involve navigating a post-test.  The required consultation is an opportunity for integration, additional questions, and further exploration.  



Assessment Option 3: $400 non-refundable application fee (10 continuing education contact hours)

  • Successfully complete four 1-hour consultations with the certification instructor. Each consultation will be an opportunity to discuss and reflect on a course and the related Final Project, allowing participants to have more live support as you make your way through the material.


This option is designed for those who prefer to have a live check point to support their learning at the end of each course module. The required consultations are opportunities for integration, additional questions, and further exploration.  In this options, none of the Final Projects  need to be submitted.  



Note: The live consultations are not examinations. However, a successful consultation will demonstrate that you have completed the relevant course work as demonstrated by your ability to engage with the course material and reflect on your final projects. 

If you are unable to participate meaningfully in the consultation time, you may be denied the certificate and required to either (1) take the post-tests or (2) pay for a second consultation after you have completed the work.  

A $75 fee will be required for each additional consultation, when necessary, to demonstrate that you have completed the required courses and all four Final Projects.
